Cooperativa de Ahorro y Crédito Cooprogreso Ltda (Cooprogreso) is a saving and credit cooperative regulated by the Superintendency of Popular and Solidarity Economy (SEPS). It operates from its founding headquarters in Pomasquí and has branches in the north highlands and cities of the central highlands and coastal regions.
The organisation serves microentrepreneurs in urban and rural areas through a methodology of individual and village banking, and also offers financial products to meet the demands of salaried people.
Cooprogreso was founded in 1969 and first partnered with Oikocredit in 2015.
